QUALIFICATION DETAILS
This is a comprehensive prehospital care qualification designed to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to provide effective immediate care in emergency situations.
This internationally recognised course is ideal for those operating in remote, high-risk or challenging environments where emergency medical services may be delayed making it one of the most sought-after awards for first response capability in the international arena.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This qualification is ideal for anyone who may be required to act as the First Person on Scene—someone who could be among the first to arrive at an incident and needs the competence and confidence to assess, manage risk, and provide immediate care.

It is particularly suitable for learners working (or volunteering) in roles where incidents are possible and timely first response matters, including:

staff operating in higher-risk environments
Delivery and assessment are built around practical application and scenario-based performance consistent with the operational “first on scene” role.
OVERVIEW
This is a practical, hands-on qualification with strong emphasis on realistic scenarios and the ability to perform under pressure. Learners build skills progressively through coached practice, structured recaps, and scenario sessions designed to embed decision-making, communication and casualty care.

A typical delivery model is a 4-day programme, culminating in a theory assessment paper and practical assessments.

CERTIFICATION
